This report from the Stanford Center on Early Childhood’s RAPID Survey Project, developed in collaboration with Children and Screens, explores the circumstances impacting screen use among families with children under age six.

Drawing on responses from 1,021 caregivers, the report provides a closer look at how parents use screens while navigating the everyday demands of caregiving, from preparing meals and managing household responsibilities to helping children calm down or just finding a few minutes to themselves. It also examines parents’ own technology use and the ways parents and children use screens together.
