Elena Petrovskaya, PhD is a researcher at the intersection of gaming and gambling. Her interests lie in the impacts of these technologies on user wellbeing, their regulation, and the internal processes of these industries. Currently, she works at the University of Lincoln on a qualitative project investigating gambling harms, and leads a separate study on the advertising of loot boxes.
