Jason Nagata, MD, MSc, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco specializing in adolescent and young adult medicine and researching adolescent screen use and health behaviors. He has published over 400 articles in academic journals such as JAMA and The Lancet and his research has been covered by national media including the New York Times, NBC News, NPR, and CNN. He Co-Founded the International Association for Adolescent Health Emerging Professionals Network and serves as a Commissioner for the Second Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing. He is the recipient of the American Academy of Pediatrics Emerging Leader in Adolescent Health Award and the International Association for Adolescent Health Young Professionals Prize.
