
Lilach Graff Nomkin, MA
Lilach Graff Nomkin’s research focuses on maternal smartphone use during breastfeeding interactions with infants. She published her thesis on maternal physiological responses and gaze patterns during infant interactions in 2021, receiving the President’s Scholarship for Outstanding Students. She manages the Social Neuroscience Lab at the Gonda Brain Research Center at Bar-Ilan University, and recently received a grant from the Peleg-Bilig Center for Research on the Quality of Family Life. She holds an M.A. in Psychology specializing in Cognition and Emotion from the same university. Her doctoral research examines the bio-behavioral mechanisms underlying the SMaRT Mom intervention, designed to promote mindful smartphone use and enhance infant social-emotional development.
