
Lucía Magis-Weinberg, MD, PhD
Lucía Magis-Weinberg, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor in Psychology at the University of Washington. She leads the interACTlab focused on social media and mental health. She works with schools to promote digital citizenship and investigate the impact of smartphone bans for youth. Her work is funded by the NIMH.
Dr. Magis-Weinberg received her MD from UNAM, her MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience and PhD in Experimental Psychology from UCL. She was a postdoctoral scholar at UC Berkeley. She is a member of the American Psychological Association Expert Advisory Panel on Social Media Use in Adolescence.
