Dr. Meredith Gansner is a Child Psychiatrist and an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She is an award-winning researcher exploring high-risk digital media use in adolescents and the use of smartphone-based digital phenotyping and ecological momentary assessment to assess and manage high-risk digital media habits. She has written articles about mental health and digital media for The Psychiatric Times, WBUR Cognoscenti, The Boston Globe, and Slate magazine. She is also author of the book Teen Depression Gone Viral, about the complexities of treating adolescent depression in the digital age.
