Paul Weigle, M.D., is an Associate Medical Director at Natchaug Hospital and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut  School of Medicine.  He has served on Children and Screen’s National Scientific Advisory Board since 2018, having  studied, taught and written regarding the effects of screen media habits on the mental health of youth for over 20 years. Dr. Weigle is an Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), having served for 20 years on the AACAP’s media committee, including 8 years as chair, and currently serves on AACAP’s Public Resources Committee.
