Shelby Clark, PhD
Dr. Shelby Clark is Principal Investigator and Project Director of The Good Project at Project Zero, Harvard Graduate School of Education, where her research focuses on character development and intellectual character in young people. Her work explores how students develop dispositions such as curiosity, open-mindedness, and intellectual risk-taking, and how educators can create learning environments that support ethical reflection, purpose, and meaningful contribution through the framework of “good work.” She leads research–practice partnerships that translate these ideas into classroom practice and professional learning. Dr. Clark is also an affiliate faculty member in the School of Education at Endicott College, where she teaches doctoral-level research methods courses, supporting educators in integrating rigorous inquiry with practical impact.
