ReThink Citizens will host its Youth Coalition Showcase on Thursday, October 29, 2026, bringing together 19 youth innovators (ages 14-23) to share their pitches for solutions to digital media-related issues impacting themselves and their communities. These solutions range in focus from solutions from resources to combat online harassment to addressing algorithmic bias to increasing accountability for digital systems, and more.
The event will also feature keynote speaker Frances Haugen, the whistleblower behind the 2021 Facebook Papers. Additionally, ReThink Citizens’ partner partner LookUp.Live will award a $2,500 microgrant and a place in its Social Innovator community to the top pitch presented during the event.
